I then took a simple box and tried to move that by pressing in zBrush GoZ. I cleaned out the cache as they suggested. Prior to all of this I tried to start from the "beginning" in the Preferences. Then I went back to zBrush to see if the transfer had occurred. I then went back to the scene in Lightwave11.5 Modeler and the. It then directed me to the LightWave3D11.5 folder. In the box below it is written: /Applications/NewTek/LightWave3D11.5/Modeler.app" Beneath that is the word Browse.

Click on "Browse" to select a custom location, or on "Not installed' if it is not installed. It opened and posed this question, "Several versions of Lightwave Modeler have been detected! In my case I never saw anything like this. However, in the tutorial, when Gino clicks on the GoZ tab there is something that appears to the right of this. The program acknowledged below on the lower bar that GoZ was clicked on. In modeler, I clicked on the I/O tab on the top bar and then proceeded to click on GoZ attempting. I used a simple model of 96 polygons that I had created. I followed the instructions of LightWave 11.5 GoZ Interchange for Zbrush by Lino Grandi. As per the tutorial found on the lightwave page,, I followed this tutorial as it did in 11.5. You can hit Ctrl+N to clear the document of those pixols, redraw the tool onto the document again, and then re-enter edit mode.Thank you Dan for responding. It's no longer a 3d model at that point, which is why you were not able to enter edit mode. So what happened? When you leave edit mode the model on screen gets converted into pixols. When you draw a model onto the document Zbrush will give you a chance to edit it before converting the model to pixols, which is where Edit Mode and sculpting come into play. You can paint on that document using 3d models (which is why they are referred to as Tools). These pixels are actually a little more advanced than your standard 2d pixels in that they store material and depth information in addition to RGB color channels (and we refer to them as pixols in order to distinguish them). The document is a standard image document made out of pixels, and it is waiting for you draw on it like the blank canvas that it is.
